KERRY GOULET has set
up another sensational
Ice Hockey Classic. And
Manitobans’ Terry Yake,
formerly with the St. Louis
Blues, and Chris Driedger
of the Ottawa Senators,
are ready to do it again.
The Winnipegger at the
helm of stopconcussions.com
will take the 2018 Canada-
USA Tour of Australia to
New Zealand this summer.
And the icing on the cake
will be the first outdoor
game ever played in the
Southern Hemisphere.
After three very successful
seasons of promoting ice
hockey in Australia, TLA
Worldwide (TLA) and TEG
Live (TEG), along with
StopConcussions have
confirmed the expansion
of the Ice Hockey Classic to
Auckland and Wellington,
New Zealand in 2018.
The tour already holds
the record for the highest
attendance at an ice hockey
game in the Southern
Hemisphere -- a crowd of
16,800 at the Allphones
Arena in Sydney, Australia.
This unique partnership,
led by Winnipeg’s own
Kerry Goulet, will now do
something that has never
been done before -- hold an
outdoor ice hockey game in
the Southern Hemisphere.
On June 23, the Ice
Hockey Classic will freeze
50,000 litres of water in
