CES 2018
Into The Future
While our January issue is always a look back at the year before , it also means we look to the future . January brings with it CES , the largest technology show in the world , and the place where everyone comes to make their pitch with where they see the future taking us .
This show was bigger than ever , and we saw some amazing pieces of kit that are sure to be on many a " must have " list . So what better way to kick of the New Year than with a list of what we think were the stand-out things we saw at the show .
Some of the things on our list might not be as revolutionary , and world-changing as the lists from other publications , but we like to pick pieces of technology that the general public can actually get some use out of . Now , that ' s not to say that one of two of the items on the list might venture into Star Trek territory , because even we are suckers for people that can envision a wondrous future . we ' ll check back at the end of the year to see how many of the following things actual come to market , or get turned into something useful .
