Cuphead - $19.99
It's the first game on our list this year, but it's also one of
the best games of 2017! Cuphead is simply a must own
title that should be in every gamers collection. It's like a
1940s cartoon come to life, and that isn't an
overstatement. If you love video games that are gorgeous
and offer up a serious challenge, then Cuphead is a game
that you'll fall in love with.
Sonic Mania - $19.99
Two different Sonic games came out
this year. One 3D one by a huge team
of dozens of people working around
the globe, and the other a 2D game by
two guys and one super fan. As you can
guess, the 2D game was Sonic Mania
and it's the best Sonic game to ever be
released. The other, Sonic Forces, just
came out and has already been
forgotten.
Crash N-Sane Trilogy - $34.99
2017 really does seem like it was the year of some
amazing classic franchises coming back, and the
Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy helps lend credence
to that thought. Rebuilt from the ground up, the
game features the three PS1 era games redone with
modern visuals on the PS4. What's more, the game
seemed to get harder in the process and that's fine
by us who cut their teeth on the classic Crash series
back in the day.
