talks to us about his roles with
London GAA and his former
duties as a board officer of his
club in London.
1. WHERE DO YOU COME
FROM IN IRELAND?
I am from Clones (Cluain Eois)
in County Monaghan
2. WHEN DID YOU COME
TO LONDON?
I first arrived in London in July
1989, I returned home later that
year. I then returned to London
in late summer 1990 and have
been here ever since.

3. WHAT GAA CLUB ARE YOU WITH IN
LONDON?
played for Parnell’s, Tir Chonaill Gaels and Kerry Gaels. I
also played at U21 level for Tara and London.

YOUR VARIOUS ROLES?
Yes from 1995, I retired in 2007 but have since played
on occasions for the club when needed. My last match
was in April 2015. Before Joining St Josephs I had

and held this post from 1995 to 2010. I have also served
as Secretary and Treasurer.
