ITALY PADOVA JUNE 19, 2015 MUNICH AND VIENNA WIN SOUTH EAST CHAMPIONSHIP HONOURS BY FILIPPO SZCZEPNYJ On June 13, the 3rd round of the South East European Gaelic Football Championship took place at the home of Padua Gaelic Football club, Padova. The event was attended by seven men’s and nine ladies for a total of about 200 athletes. A good result. It is not the first time that the city of Saint Anthony is home to a Gaelic Football Tournament; in 2013, in an event held in the historic stadium Appiani, Zurich Inneoin won both the men’s and ladies events. So after two years, the city of Padova and Padova Gaelic Football, organizes again an event of European level and expanding the number of teams involved. An event that 34 has certified major progress made towards the development of Gaelic Football in Italy. The number of registered teams and the level of play, show this.
