FRANCE HURLING FIRST
To add to the growing interest in Gaelic Sports in France, this weekend Saturday June 20th and sees the first ever Hurling Tournament to
take place on French soil in Paris.
This is part of the Paris Gaels 20th Anniversary and sees the club
organise the first hurling game ever in France.
Activities on the day start early in the morning with Initiation Hurling with Irish students along with Gaelic Football for ladies. This will
be followed by a Gaelic football tournament and later in the afternoon a Hurling Tournament. Up to 40 hurlers are expected for this
inaugural hurling event with 60 players involved in football.
