Easts got off to a strong start hitting three early goals but credit to Shamrocks they did reasonably well to keep the game alive when behind by seven points at the break. Though Easts were not as on song scoring-wise in the second period they did keep distance between themselves and Shamrocks who never really looked like making a comeback. It ended Easts 4-11 Shamrocks 1-8. Best for Easts were Mossy Hartnett, Ronan Daly and Paudie Dineen, while Trevor Molloy, Justin Mosch and Kyle Coady did well for Shamrocks.
