INDIANAPOLIS JUNE 19, 2015 HUGE WEEKEND TOURNAMENT IN INDIANAPOLIS There is just one round left in regulation in this summer’s Indy Hurling League but the big event this weekend is not league competition but the annual Indy GAA Invitational which welcomes teams from 13 cities from all across the Midwest to Indianapolis on Saturday. LEAGUE RECAP Week 7 of the hurling league on June 7th saw Healthsource solidify second spot with a win and a draw, Triton stayed fourth with a big win over Renner’s, league leaders Connor’s Pub pushed their unbeaten streak out to 9 wins, Upland had a loss but also had a win that saw them stay in third place Photo: Indy GAA. and Pogues kept their no. 5 seed spot when beating Smoking Iron in the final game. The top 8 are automatic seeds didn’t change a whole lot but we did see Triton move to third 1-8 for the Playoffs and Smoking with zero wins from 9 is at with a win over Renner’s while Upland with their loss to 2Ginthe bottom of the pile in 9th with Renner’s just above. Both of gers move down to fourth. Connor’s got another win as did these look set for a Play-in game to the top 8.
