Being able to spend time with guys and girls from different spheres of life was interesting and at times really funny. I enjoyed the tour and getting to know all the people and find out about their different backgrounds and planned futures, not just from our company but also the people where we stayed at. The Irish are very warm and welcoming people. Gaelic football takes the best out of all the games (Basketball, soccer, volleyball etc) and adds them together. It’s a fast game but really amazing to play!’ were so welcoming and made the trip an absolute pleasure. They entertained us all day every day. The social matches that were organised all over Ireland were great preparation for the games, despite our fear for the cold. The time spent in Abu Dhabi at the world games, was also something to remember. Despite being tired from the traveling and the world games itself, the stay was great fun and the games well organized. The banquet on Saturday was a very nice social event, pity we had to leave early to catch our flight back home. MNERO (GUGU) GABUZA The tour in Ireland was a really good experience learning more about the Gaelic football games, especially its history and to level it off going to the museum and its biggest stadium, Croke Park. Every place we went to give us knowledge about the sport that we didn’t know as it is not well known in our country yet. Even though the weather wasn’t on our side we managed to adapt to it. As for the World Games, it was my first time, we tried our best even though other rules were new to us, getting into semis was a good job for the team. At least now we know what to expect now that we have seen the strong and weak points of other countries that we can learn from and rectify where we went wrong. Overall a great experience and a nice tour we had. OLUCHI ODIMEGWU LISE COETZEE I would like to thank the people and sponsors that made the trip possible. It was a great experience. The Irish The snow was something I never experienced before so it was beautiful and exciting. Meeting the Prime Minister, Enda Kenny was also an interesting experience. 19
