will have to change their software to allow for electronic
submissions to the GDOT;
The Automated License Plate Recognition (ALPR) bill
will also most likely pass this year early in the session;
and
Introduction of a bill to make possession of less than
one ounce of marijuana a misdemeanor and there will
most likely be a continuation towards legalization.
It is not too late to announce your candidacy to be a
leader in our association. At every Summer Conference in
July, the members elect a new 4th Vice President.
So far, we have three qualified candidates that have
declared their intention of running. If you are interested in
joining this race, please contact Executive Director Frank
Rotondo. Interested candidates must announce and de-
clare his/her candidacy before the end of the Business
Meeting at our upcoming Winter Conference in Athens.
The board members and I are here to work for you and the
betterment of our association and profession. If any of us
