Since July 1, 2015, the State Board of Pardons and Paroles has consistently been working to enhance its operations by engaging staff and community stakeholders and eliciting participation from both. Meeting with criminal justice partners and community leaders has proven beneficial to the Board's operations while simultaneously assisting our partners and stakeholders with their operations.

"It's very important that we reach out to our communities and our criminal justice partners," says Parole Director Chris Barnett. "By us all actively participating, we are educating each other about the importance of our individual organizations and how we must work together to benefit public safety."

"Parole Board Director Chris Barnett and his staff were very responsive to our needs. We had questions about offender reentry services, and they had the information we needed." - Ware Co. Commissioner Victor Aldridge
