A Look at the Newly Elected FWYC
Flag Officers for 2014!
The Flag Officers for 2014 know how to have fun at
the Club, but they are also taking their new leadership
positions very seriously. Here’s a little insight into our
new Flags.
Commodore Bobby Dewrell: Bobby served as
FWYC Vice Commodore for 2013. He is a native of
Okaloosa County and after being away for a while,
moved back to the Fort Walton Beach area. He and
his wife Cathy, who is a teacher at Liza Jackson
Preparatory School, have two sons, Parker, 14, and Jameson, 6. Parker is active in Junior sailing activities and
has been on two Junior Lipton Teams. Bobby and Parker both crew on Two Pot Screamer whenever they can.
Bobby works for Bank of America managing the mobile release team and the innovation team. Before joining
Bank of America, he spent time on consulting, logistics, and mortgage banking. While living in Charlotte, NC,
