thing that was important to me is that I remained pure until I got married and I was able to come to marriage with my virginity and that was huge for me, but it was a step further, I wanted to take it to a level of purity because I believe there is a difference between virginity and purity. The Church Girl Anthem is my response to a situation. If I could have done that situation again... or what would I tell my sister? If someone was in a compromising situation, I would tell them, in the words of the song, I have a standard to live by. So I encourage my Sisters in Christ, keep your standards, be who God called you to be and set the standards high. You don't have to explain yourself to anyone in order to live the life or to live how God has called you to live. I want to be transparent with my younger sisters and I always believe like the bible says, ...we are overcome by the blood of the Lamb... When we share our stories with someone, we actually empower them. They can say, "Hey, I'm not the only one facing this" or "I can learn from this situation." You don't

have to go through the same mistakes people make. As a believer, that is the greatest thing that we exchange with each other. Someone has exactly what I need, when they tell me their story and share their life and I have what someone else needs, so that constant change makes us better and makes us live the best lives that we possibly can."

The singer/songwriter is also and actress. She started acting when she was in elementary school and did some acting in Bible College in Ohio. She told us that she has just recently come back to that love. "It's something that I didn't do for a while and there's nothing coming up currently, but when I do a show, I do a little monologue with what's going on in my life.
