Terry McGee is a highly motivated spiritual person who believes anyone can be who they want to be and accomplish what they want to accomplish. In our interview with Terry, he told us that he started life as a guy who barely graduated high school and now realizes it’s not where you come from, but where you are going. “Our past has little to do with our future. I’m working a 9-5 and still stay on the grind for my destiny!” he said.
Three and a half years ago, Terry started a show called “The Simply Inspiring Show” which has been just that, inspiring. The show has been a big success. When asked what motivated him to start the show, this is what Terry had to say, “I was asked to be interviewed about my chapter in a book co-authored by many including Les Brown. Well the interviewer did not show up at the appointed time to meet in the radio studio, and I was asked if I was interested in starting a show while I was there. What is the show about? We play gospel music and interview gospel artists and anyone that has an inspiring story or is doing incredible things such as Fuzionz Magazine.”
Terry says his biggest challenge since he has been hosting the show is staying committed. “This is what separates most from their dreams and passions,” he stated. One of his aha moments was when he discovered he had nothing forcing him to stay in the box!!
"The Simply Inspiring Show"
Not only does Terry host his show, but he gives back to the community. “I give to and work the homeless community and I also do the same for underprivileged children for Christmas,” he told us. He is currently working on a solo book project, co-author book project and co-writing the movie associated with the book. His words of inspiration to us all: “Never let anybody steal your dreams or passion, including the number one dream killer who can be found in the mirror!!”
