Dream job – farmer
I’m interested in being a farmer because it’s nice and fun. If you want to be a farmer
you have to have skills in math and biology. It’s also important to know how to use
farm machines.
Farmer’s training takes about 1, 5 – 2 years. You can study for example in southern
Finland, in Hyvinkää. The student fee is 450 euros, and the examination fee is 58
euros.
The length of the workdays varies. The Work is usually physically hard. The average
wage is normally over 3000 euros per month. There have been around 200 000
farms in Finland. The number of farms is estimated to drop to only 35 000 in ten
years.
