The career of Lawyer Job description   A lawyer works for his client (a company or single person) and is paid to defend his client in a court case. To defend his client, he must do research and find evidence on a crime or accusation and prepare a testimony for the judge. Education  A lawyer must have at least 3 years of law school.  Before law school training, a lawyer must have 4 years of undergraduates and obtain at least a bachelors degree.  A lawyer can also have an apprenticeship with someone who works in a related field of law.
