Theme: Healthy lifestyle

This project meeting had as a main topic the threats caused by unsustainable consumption. Students had to create a true scenario of sustainable life to start a new civilization. They will address key themes for sustainable development such as healthy life, food, sport, the economy, the environment, climate change, environmental protection.
Sicily is a land full of legends, miracles, history and civilization. In Sicily we could find Roman amphitheatres, baroque churches, an active volcano - Etna, near Catania, as well as an exceptional cuisine.
Day I - March 19
On the first day of mobility, the participants from the 5 countries met at the host school, Istituto D 'Istruzione Superiore "E. Fermi ". Istituto D 'Istruzione Superiore "E. Fermi "is a technical and agrarian high school.
The activity started with a ceremony of the European Union flags, then of the partner countries in the project. The following speech was followed by Ms. Rosario Costanzo and the host country coordinator Giacomo Moncada.
The partner teams were presented and after that each participating country had a presentation about the school and the country they came from, followed by ice breaking activities. Teachers and students were divided into groups according to the colors they had on the badge.
The host school was presented to us by the teachers and students here.
We also had a meeting with the representatives of the City Hall in Vittoria, Ragusa Province, and on this occasion we visited the Municipal Theater and the City Cathedral.
Day 2 - 20 March
The activity started with presentations on "Healthy Living - Healthy Lifestyle". The first country was Spain, which held a presentation on the subject.
Turkey has presented about Sport and its importance in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Romania presented "The Distance between Digital Wisdom and Digital Addiction" and Cyprus "Recreational Activities".
After the presentation, the students chose 5 representative photos on the theme of the meeting, photos that will be needed to make a calendar.
We visited the school and we could see the greenhouses where students have their practice, as well as the market inside the school where natural products (oil, wine, vegetables) are sold.
