Day IV
We had a day of documentary activities in the Quaternary Geopark, Fonelas, Gorafe. The Quaternar Geological Park project, the valleys of northern Granada, is an initiative to protect and inform about the most complete continental sedimentation recorded in the planet's quaternary age. The activity was an observation, recognition of fossils, ancient necropolis minerals, archaeological sites, emblems of unique ancient systems around the world. It is still an untouched area of industrialization, pollution, an area that is tainted with tens of millions of years, rich in large mammal paleontological deposits.
At Gorafe it was found one of the highest dolmen concentrations, altogether 240 (megalithic burial buildings from the Bronze Age).
