Day I
On the first day of mobility, the participants from the 5 countries met at the host school, IES ACCI. The work began with a speech by director Garcia Gomez Leovigildo, who underlined the importance of protecting the environment in this era of globalization and industrialization.
Then ice breaks followed. Students were divided into groups, then in high school gymnasium they had to participate in different games based on movement, attention, teamwork and communication.
The work continued with the host's presentation of films made by them about the cultural heritage of the Granada region, the cave houses of Guadix, the Alhambra in Granada, and the valleys of northern Granada.
We also had a meeting with representatives of the Guadix City Hall, Granada, and on this occasion the cathedral of the Cathedral of the Encarnación Cathedral, considered one of the first Spanish bishops.
At the City Hall students under the guidance of coordinator Francisco Jimenez Medialdea used a series of mottoes to launch a debate on a sustainable, non-polluting world with a renewable energy economy. Students have been involved in this activity that concerns us all like; we are responsible for stopping desertification, maintaining biodiversity, preserving and sustaining oceans and seas.
