Advantages and disadvantages of green energy

Solar energy Advantages

It is inexhaustible;

It is ecological;

It is not polluting and has no harmful effects on the atmosphere.

Disadvantages

It is still very expensive;

It is dependent on the sun's rays, in other words the amount of solar rays that reach the earth, thus being variable, depending on the weather, over the year, by the atmospheric conditions.

Water energy Advantages

Electricity produced by rivers or river courses is "clean" without releasing any pollution to the environment;

It has a long service life.

Disadvantages

Changing the environment;

In the dry years, the water level may drop dramatically

Biomass energy Advantages

It is renewable;

It helps to eliminate waste;

It ensures effective environmental protection for the population as well as the environment;

It has low costs;

It is non-polluti

Disadvantages

The biggest drawback of using biomass as a source of energy is that carbon monoxide is released by burning.

Wind energy Advantages

Zero emission of pollutants and greenhouse gases due to the fact that no fuels are burned;

No waste is produced

Disadvantages

"visual" pollution, the propellers having an unpleasant appearance, being very high;

It produces "noise pollution" being rather noisy.
