The meeting of all participants took place in the amphitheater of the Technical College "Mihail Sturdza". The work began with the presentations of Turkey, Spain and Cyprus on climate change.
Extreme weather phenomena - thunderstorms, floods, droughts and warmth waves are becoming more frequent and stronger. Polar ice melts, and sea levels rise at a double speed over 50 years ago. Millions of people around the globe are threatened by poverty, famine and lack of water.
We discussed ways in which we can help stop this process, so we can:
- We use public transport, bicycle or walking
- Do not leave household appliances plugged in after charging
- Do not leave the phone charger plugged in unless you charge it.
