SOC 47-2111: Electricians Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. May install or service street lights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems. Excludes Security and Fire Alarm Systems Installers (49-2098). SOC 47-4021: Elevator Installers and Repairers Assemble, install, repair, or maintain electric or hydraulic freight or passenger ELEVATORs, escalators, or dumbwaiters. SOC 51-2031: Engine and Other Machine Assemblers Construct, assemble, or rebuild machines, such as engines, turbines, and similar equipment used in such industries as CONSTRUCTION, extraction, textiles, and paper manufacturing. SOC 19-4091: Environmental Science and Protection Technicians, Including Health Perform laboratory and field tests to monitor the environment and investigate sources of pollution, including those that affect health, under the direction of an environmental scientist, engineer, or other specialist.
