From the ancient “slàinte mhath” in Scotland and “sláinte mhaith” in Ireland (pronounced slawn che wah), each wishing Good Health to their Gaelic friends...to the modern-day “Season's Wishes!”, “Happy New Year!” and other greetings in Britain and across the world. This is a time of year when people of all ages celebrate special religious times and cultural events. Some pray, some meditate, some have a holiday -some have a party!
