The fund seeks to generate long-term capital appreciation by investing in the
securities of US companies of any market capitalisation that the sub-investment
manager believes are experiencing, or have potential to experience, aboveaverage growth of earnings and/or cash flow.

Why the fund is different
The fund seeks to outperform on both long and short positions and is
unconstrained by market capitalisation, sector or style. The portfolio is diversified
across 50+ long positions and 30+ individual short positions, with any unwanted
residual market risk hedged using futures. Overall, the fund typically retains a
long bias of between +30% and +60% net exposure and historically exhibited
around half the volatility of the equity market. The fund has daily liquidity and no
performance fees.
