differentiated business models, sustainable competitive edges, attractive
growth prospects and proven management teams.
Why the fund is different
Our all-cap, growth orientation and significant exposure to consumer and
health care businesses are defining characteristics of the portfolio. Many of the
businesses in the portfolio are potentially well-positioned to benefit from growth
opportunities in Asia or the improvement in the corporate governance and
domestic growth outlook within Japan. The fund has a significant overweight to
small caps, which in our view offer attractive opportunities due to limited analyst
coverage and our long-term investment horizon.
