ATHLETICS DAY

un Valley Group of Schools held their Annual Grade 4
to 7 Athletics Day. Despite the hot, windy weather, the
boys and girls had an incredibly time. The enthusiasm
shown by each house was fantastic. Both the Athletes and
the supporters gave their all.
The level of competition was phenomenally high and some
amazing performances were on display. Many records were
broken and it seems the Athletics standards are improving
every single year.

WATERPOLO
SVPS U13A Waterpolo Boys and Girls literally invaded the
SPUR in a big way as part of a fundraising event for the U13
Waterpolo Tour. It was a wonderful evening with both the girls
and boys getting a chance to serve their families, friends and of
course some unsuspecting Spur locals.
The night was a massive success. The Sun Valley Primary
School was given 10% of all takings. A number of parents
donated large amounts of money to the touring party which
was greatly appreciated.
