water bottles.

The Fish River Canyon is the
second-largest canyon in the
world, the Great Canyon in
America being the largest.

Our second night was spent at more or less the 10km mark.
The next morning it was past the Sulpher Springs, which
can be seen from one of the lookout points at the top. You
look around you and cannot believe how spectacular and
beautiful this canyon is, it is soul-enriching, which offers
you a wonderful chance of reflecting on your own journey
in this wonderful world of ours. It is just amazing how close
you feel to your Creator when you are out in Nature, away
from the sinful world of man.
When doing this hike it is essential to drink enough
water. Your only source is the river. I know of hikers who
developed kidney stones because their water intake was
not sufficient. It is also vitally important Ѽ
