NuStar’s strategic investment at Grays

he company, which has approximately
8,700 miles of pipeline and 79 terminal
and storage facilities across the globe, is
currently investing £25m at the Grays terminal.
Having recently completed the initial
phase, Jetty 1 received its first vessel in
January. Equipped with an improved draft of
12.8 M, max LOA of 244 M and unrestricted
beam, this jetty can now receive vessels of up
to 125,000 GDT with new marine loading arms
and additional shipping lines to ensure efficient
discharge. Works on Jetty 2 are expected to be
completed by the end of Q1 2018.
Four new road loading bays have been
commissioned with a further one to be added
at the end of Q1, giving the terminal 7 retail
bays and 5 separate commercial loading bays.
