A driving force behind the company’s growth since joining in 2004, under his leadership the company has become a leading player in fuel distribution around the world with a presence in 49 countries, $15.2bn of revenues in 2017 and more than 3,000 service stations globally. A search for a successor has commenced, in the meantime, Pierre will continue in his role and the plan is that he will transition his responsibilities to the new CEO once s/he is on board. Jenna MacDonald is now national accounts manager at Johnston Oils. Stuart Morgan joined Fermac Transport Services as managing director on 1st June. With a head office at Thrapston in Northamptonshire, the company provides bulk haulage and transport solutions and has depots in Tilbury, Kettering, Wellingborough, Leighton Buzzard, Banbury, Wrexham and Ely. Tony Watson has also joined Stuart as a director at the company. Craig Hunter has joined Watson Fuels as regional commercial sales manager based in Louth, Lincolnshire. Michael Derbyshire has become group SHEQ manager at Prax Petroleum. Brigade Electronics has appointed Rachel Hutson as group IT and communications director. Since the introduction of the Mike Bailey and Mike Salmon reversing alarm in 1976, Brigade’s offering now includes 360° camera monitor systems and remote access digital recording systems with managed services. The new head of speciality fuels and services at Certas Energy is Katrina McDonnell. Mike Bailey is now in the newly created role of technical sales specialist at Tuffa UK whilst Mike Salmon has joined the marketing team. “As we now produce a lot of tanks to customer’s personal requirements and specifications, it’s great to have somebody with Mike’s technical background on the sales team,” said Mike Salmon. “With new products being developed, it’s an exciting time to be joining Tuffa,” added Mike Bailey. Recently joining Grant UK are Mike Pryde as area sales manager, covering Northern England and southern Scotland, and two trainees Charles Gillman-Couch and Emily Ryan. Based at Grant UK’s HQ in Devizes, the trainees are part of a new initiative programme launched in spring 2018. Charles, who is a recent graduate in civil engineering from Swansea University, said: “I am deeply interested in renewable technologies and feel fortunate to be part of a team pioneering the way for the heating industry in this area.” “It is hoped that both Charles and Emily will gain an insight into all of the daily activities here at Grant before choosing the right path for them within the company,” said managing director, Paul Wakefield.
