ALLIED STORAGE TANKS designed and built two 200,000 litre fully enclosed bund units for Allan Stobart Lubricants & Fuels of Cumbria above.
Specific criteria required the two companies to work together on the design of the units, which offer easy internal access for regular tank clean-
outs. The tanks were strengthened with stiffening between the inner tank wall and the outer bund wall, minimising the internal tank stiffening and
ensuring safe access for tank cleaners.
Allied operates from a 120,000 sq ft factory in Darlaston, West Midlands with 16 overhead cranes up to a 75-tonne capacity. Tanks and vessels
above 200,000 litres can be constructed on site by the company’s highly qualified site crews.
