THE PRAX GROUP, one of the UK’s leading

keen to broaden its appeal to the fuel
distribution sector with kerosene being made
available at a number of its terminals.
Emphasising this positive initiative
for distributors, Stephen Rhodes, sales and
marketing director said:
“Following a strong request from
a number of distributors, kerosene was
introduced at the Grangemouth Terminal in
December 2017.
We’ve been delighted with the
positive response from our customers who
have especially welcomed the additional
availability of kerosene during this prolonged
cold spell.”
Last month the Group introduced
kerosene at the Dagenham Terminal;
complementing the current supply of diesel
and gasoil for distributors in the Thames
region.
“With a number of customers having
informed us about the limited availability of
kerosene in this region, we’re confi dent that
Dagenham’s kerosene provision will provide
much value to our customers. Gate to gate
times for kerosene are around 17 minutes.”
In early April kerosene sales are to
commence at the Jarrow Terminal as part of
a capital investment programme relating to
tank refurbishment at the facility.
“The completion of renovation works to
Tank 35 has enabled us to fi nalise the product
range at Jarrow, with kerosene being included
along with gasoline, diesel and gasoil,”
confi rmed Stephen.
TOTAL Lindsey Oil Refi nery (Total LOR) celebrates its 50th anniversary
this year.

VALERO ENERGY has further enhanced its supply position in 2018 and
can now provide a full suite of products for customers from NuStar’s
Grays Terminal on the Thames. Valero has also signed an agreement with
SemGroup Europe to purchase its fuel storage facility at Milford Haven.
One of the largest storage facilities in the UK, it has capacity for gasoline,
gasoline blendstocks, naphtha, jet fuel, gas oil and diesel.
The facility gives Valero the fl exibility to meet customers’ demands
for products in the UK and throughout Northwest Europe. Milford Haven
will continue to operate as a third-party storage facility for customers
across the European petroleum markets.
