SCULLY Connect™ is a tool-less and quick
connect overfi ll prevention system for semi-
trailers and rigid tankers.
The system signifi cantly reduces
installation and repair times whilst taking
quality, reliability, and safety to a new level.
Scully Connect™ is setting a new standard in
overfi ll prevention.
Scully Connect™ has been engineered
with attention to detail and addresses the
pitfalls of traditional systems.
Cables and connectors have been
designed with a high degree of ingress
protection and have undergone extensive
environmental testing. Following industry
best practice cables are light blue in colour to
identify as intrinsically safe circuits.
The quick connect concept ensures
a quick, easy, and consistent standard of
installation and repairs as hand crimped
terminations and physical wiring are removed
to improve overall reliability and safety.
The design also features camlock levers
with sealing provisions in the cap allowing for
trouble free access and a corrosion resistant
compression lever to secure the sensor shaft
in position without future seizing issues.
The overfi ll prevention system (also
know as HLCO) is a standalone safety critical
system, therefore Scully Connect™ can
be used with any bottom loading and/or
metering system.
“Proven over many years, our systems
have enabled our customers to protect plant,
people, and the environment during high-risk
loading operations,” said Scully sales engineer
Carl Brooks.
“As the pioneers, this specialist and
safety critical system remains a core
business competency with a deep underlying
knowledge to provide an end to end solution
from the loading gantry to the road tanker.”
“As LAG’s UK agent, we offer Scully
Connect™ as standard to our customers,”
said Peter Hughes, TIP Europe/WTS.
“Industry leader Scully has demonstrated a
commitment to safety, quality, and reliability
which aligns with ours in providing customers
with a quality, reliable, and innovative
product.”
