The LATEST addition to the SCANIA service network for the petroleum
industry is Scania Normanton. Located on the M62 corridor, the branch
provides a full service including petroleum tanker maintenance and Safe
Load Pass.
Scania produces heavy trucks from 18-tonnes gross vehicle weight
upwards and a comprehensive one-stop service, covering vehicle repair and
maintenance. This includes all forms of tanker testing and certification to
meet the industry’s requirements, with all services carried out in approved
workshops with full test and repair facilities.
As part of its on-going commitment to continuous improvement, Scania
constantly re-evaluates safe systems of working and practices for this ever
more demanding industry sector.

being purchased in euros. However, we endeavour to keep price increases to a minimum,

“Trailers were strong last year and although we’ll never be a multi-national supermarket
supplier, we’ve found that independent owners seem to appreciate the ‘over engineering’
inbuilt on the Tasca trailer.
“Ireland continues to grow year on year with Jones Oils and TOP in the Republic and Go
Petroleum/LCC and Nicholl Oils in the North ordering in numbers again.
“For customers who have an urgent requirement, we will continue to build a limited
number of stock rigid trucks and trailers.”
