devotions led by the faith leaders. We offer leisurely paced
itineraries with multi-night stays in regions to really immerse
our guests in the culture and make for a comfortable
experience.
What are some faith travel trends that you’re seeing?
Edwards: Not surprisingly, the top requested tours are the
Shrines of Italy tour, Fatima-Lourdes and Barcelona for the
160th anniversary of the apparitions of the Holy Mother,
and the Footsteps of Paul tour. Israel tours are always
popular, the Pilgrimage to Poland is growing in popularity
and the 2020 Passion Play in Oberammergau is selling very
well already, with one-third of our 10,000 reserved spots
already sold.
One growing trend in faith travel is faith groups traveling
together on secular itineraries to Europe, Alaska and on
river cruises. These fellowship trips allow congregations
to spend quality time together while exploring new
destinations.
How does Collette benefi t from membership in FTA?
Edwards: FTA provides Collette another platform to
expose our faith product line (both group and individual
reservations) with NTA partners. We gain great exposure
through inclusion in the FTA directory in the Trip Planner for
