CLINICIAN CULTURE. You have to have a culture where the physician will go look for the image. If the prevailing attitude is, “We didn’t do it here,” or “I like my guy,” at some point there’s a cost to this that’s intolerable, both in patient safety, and in dollars. “I think the culture has to change—to go look to see if the test has been done and if it’s available.”
