Frisco ISD Scores Big
with FC Dallas
The Major League Soccer team continues to invest in Frisco,
more than decade after making the City its home.
FC Dallas is strong community player,
supporting Frisco ISD students, parents
and educators through a variety of special
events and activities.
The soccer team often sponsors
community nights for students at Toyota
Stadium. This school year, players are
also stepping up and taking their game
to several elementary campuses to vol-
unteer, mentor students and stress the
importance of exercise and ways to live
a healthy lifestyle.
“FC Dallas is wonderful to work with
and the entire organization truly cares
about our students,” said Allison Miller,
director of FISD Partners in Education.
“The FC Dallas Foundation has allowed
students to do sports marketing intern-
ships and FC Dallas has partnered with
the Frisco Education Foundation to host
FC Dallas Defender
Walker Hume visits
with students at
Spears Elementary.

FEF nights where portions of every tick-
et purchased goes to FEF. They take the
time to visit our campuses . They truly are
community driven.”
FC Dallas has had a presence in Frisco
since the opening of the stadium in 2005.
Their partnership with the City of Frisco
and Frisco ISD allows FISD football and
soccer games and other events to be held
in the complex. The team, along with U.S.
Soccer, the City and school district, un-
veiled a plan in 2015 to upgrade the stadi-
um. The project, complete with renovated
space, new locker rooms, premium seats,
a private club and the National Soccer
Hall of Fame Museum, is expected to be
complete by fall 2018.
FC Dallas is part of the fabric of our
community – providing playing fields and
great leadership. n
