Astros Snow
November 1, 2017 the Houston Astros win Game 7
to clinch the World Series title. Students rush outside on a cold school day to
experience the snow flurries rarely seen in our
area. Snow was quickly gathered by students to
make snowballs and snowmen before the rare
white powder falling from the sky melted.
Eclipse
On Monday August 21, 2017, FISD experienced one of nature’s most awe inspiring sights- a total eclipse
of the sun. Thanks to generous donations, students were given protective eye wear before going outside to
witness the rare solar eclipse.
