Everyone has friends, but not everybody has friends from a different culture. Having a friend from another country is both an amazing experience and a fun adventure! Not only you learn a lot about friendship, other cultures and respect, but also you can change your point of view about the world.
We started this project at the beginning of the school year. First, we exchanged letters and now I am here to describe this experience. Here is my opinion:
I have found this an amazing experience! Meeting a new friend was an extraordinary adventure. It’s incredible to have contact with someone who has a different reality than me. I’ve learned a lot about Morocco and I would love to visit it!
The main advantage of having a friend who is culturally different is that it promotes the differences within races, cultures and religious backgrounds. It also promotes multiculturalism: the acceptance of differences between races. This was an exceptional project full of fun and knowledge!
