£ 5 Main bikes were used throughout the filming
of Pipe Dream – none of which still work! Originally
Maddo was trying the stunt on four-stroke bikes, but
the rebuild times that were incurred every time the
bikes sank (which was in the hundreds) started to
become unmanageable. The team then switched to
the less-technical and easier to repair two-strokes.
All the bikes were sealed to make sure they didn’t
leak oils into the water.
