p back to contents Following the first qualifying runs, another side competition was held for riders who are new to the FMX scene. As one of Eigo’s original goals for creating the GO BIG series was to introduce FMX to more riders and to motivate them to excel in the sport, a special round at GO BIG is held to help find new talent across Japan. Simply called “FIND”, this round has riders of all ages jump from 15 metres and be judged on their best trick out of three. A variety of tricks could be seen during this year’s FIND, but it was Motoki Kato’s clean Superman that gave him the win and qualified him to enter the next round of GO BIG. One surprise was to see Bupper throwing down new Back Flip combos such as a One Hand Back Flip Nac Nac with crazy extension over the regular jump. At thirty-five, Bupper is the oldest rider in the competition so it’s great to see him still pushing himself and going big!
