N THE 25TH OF
May we headed off
to Matterley Basin,
Winchester for a windswept British MXGP (round
eight of the FIM Motocross
World Championship) and
rounds two and three of the
European EMX 150, 250 and
300 championships.

Highlights for us included:
eating some outstanding
lasagna in the ‘Bike It’ tent,
enjoying Starmeal pasta
endorsed by Stefan Everts
(along with his signature
no.S72 Salad) with the guys
from Rockstar and of course,
a packed day of racing! In
the MX2 class local rider Max
Anstie showed he has skill,
balls and determination clearing the big quad jump on
his Yamaha Cosworth YZ250f
lap after lap and with miles
of style. Tony Cairoli showed
serious mental strength taking
the overall win despite the
tragic death of his father just
weeks before the race. To show
