home and I made one straight away. Obviously there were no design plans back then, but with my experience in snowboarding and FMX the result was perfect. All of my park has been built based on the difficulties I encountered at events, so that I could train and prepare better for competitions. When you’re in front of the quarter pipe, everyone gets a bit afraid because the ramp is so big and vertical, but in the end you watch the riders who know how to do it and then bit by bit you manage to do it - and then you start having fun! p back to contents What’s the sickest trick anyone’s ever thrown down in your park? My park’s seen quite a few sick tricks, from the first ever Superflip Indy by Mat Rebeaud, to the 360 by Clinton Moore, to what I still consider as the sickest trick of all – the No Handed Flip to No Hand Landing by André Villa. There’s also my ‘Spritz Flip’ (Busty Wolter remembers) which is a No Handed Back Flip Nac Nac which I did in 2008 whilst training for the competitions I was planning on riding in but never got round to doing. What’s new with the Da Boot team? Da Boot is always trying to improve in this sport; both in terms of facilities and the quality of events, tricks and riders. The latest news includes: the two youngest riders in the team, Matteo Botteon and Davide Rossi have started to do the Back Flip to dirt (Davide and Matteo started out at my school and they’ve only been riding FMX for two years), Jason Cesco is also doing Back Flips with his snowmobile and Icio Poggiana is close to perfecting the Volt. The Da Boot team will be representing Italy at the FIM Freestyle of Nations this year. What’s the party scene like in Belluno? Belluno is a pretty quiet town and very beautiful.
