GLORIOUS Rathausplatz,
the 2014 Vienna Air King
brought the world’s top
freestyle mountain bikers to one
of the most stunning urban dirt
jump settings you could imagine.
With the famous Vienna Rathaus
(town hall) as the backdrop, the
athletes rode their hearts out
on this truly epic course in an
attempt to be crowned ‘King’ in
Vienna.

The current King, Brett Rheeder
returned to the Argus Bike
Festival in Vienna - which attracts
more than 120,000 spectators
- to defend his 2013 Air King
title, and pick up some points
at what is also an official stop
on the Freeride Mountain Bike
(FMB) World Tour Circuit. After
his victory last year, he secured
his royal title and took his seat
on the throne in front of Vienna’s
town hall once again. Second
place was awarded to Polish rider
Szymon Godziek, followed by
Belgian shredder Thomas Genon.
