“Wild in the Streets of Los Angeles”
Taking on the other huge city in California,
this time Ken swapped his modern Ford whip
for something a bit traditional: a far-fromstock ‘65 Mustang with a mouth-watering list
of modifications. Dubbed ‘The Hoonicorn’,
this 4-wheel-drive monster was everything
Hoonigan stood for wrapped up in a bespoke
chassis. The ludicrous horse power on offer
was put to great use, including some serious
moves in the storm drains made famous by
Terminator 2.

“Ultimate Exotic Playground in Dubai”
The first in the series to leave the western
hemisphere, Gym 8 took advantage of road
closures and some incredible access to raise
the scale of the series again. A mix of perfect
tarmac and open desert proved a worthy test
and a worthy send-off for the Fiesta’s final
Gymkhana appearance.

“Raw Industrial Playground”
2016 was the year Ford finally realised people
wanted something capable of turning all four
wheels without looking like it belonged on
a farm. The brand-new Focus RS RX got a
stunning wrap from Felipe Pantone and sent to
upstate New York for a thrash around a course
reminiscent of the first few Gymkhanas.

Usually, I’m either too
hectic to worry, or my
confidence in Ken’s
ability outweighs the
concern. But this time
there were so many
little things that could
have gone wrong and
ended in disaster.
