They hook me up with all sponsors. I’m really happy to get help from my hero; I get a lot of motivation. If they don’t help me that time, I’m not here now! I want to say to them big thank you and one day I can help them and I can help new kids like he did to help me.” Keeping in line with that mentality of giving back and supporting the sport that has supported him so much, Stenberg has taken a keen interest in pushing natural terrain riding, or freeriding, in the direction of that of backcountry snowboarding, where guys make a living just filming video parts. “And that’s the same way I’m looking at freeriding. If there is anything I can do to help out guys like Carbone and the #Nonamers, I’m all about it because I know and believe in them and what they’ll do for freeriding as a whole, and it becoming an integrated part of the DBK theme.” Stenberg says about the freeriding influence DBK has.
