I was like okay, I guess I’m committing to this because it’s right there in my name.” She was officially pursuing her dreams. Everything changed for Krystle in June of 2017. Krystle took a leap of faith and decided it was time to leave her job as a lawyer and indulge full-time in her passion project, which is where she is truly at her happiest and most fulfilled. The journey to realize these dreams was not an easy one. Balancing a full-time job as a lawyer with a career as an online influencer – while trying to maintain relationships – is just as difficult as it sounds. Krystle explains, “It was really hard, I’m not going to lie. I got to the point of burnout because of how many things I was trying to do.” There were many things that Krystle had to sacrifice in order to pursue both her career and her dream, such as spending quality time with family and friends. As a recently married woman, Krystle also made sure that quality time with her husband Alex was a priority. “I’m still learning how to carve out time just for us. I feel like I owe it to myself to be the best person I can be, and to others as well.” Krystle will always be an advocate for following your dreams. However, it’s not always bright lights in the world of a flourishing lifestyle blog- ger. “I’m a big proponent of pursuing your pas- sion. If there are things you are passionate about, then why not. But it’s not easy. You only see the highlight reel of all the bloggers that you follow.” Blogging can be a lot of hard work, especially for influencers like Krystle who work hard to ensure that everything they do is authentic and organic.
