A passionate policy analyst, Cross brings valuable experience in government relations and advocacy, including translating complex concepts and policies for diverse public audiences.  Katie earned Bachelors’ Degrees in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Michigan. Prior to joining Fragrance Creators, she worked for four years at Blakey & Agnew, a boutique public affairs firm in Washington, D.C. During her time there, she managed policy-related initiatives and member communications for the Coalition for America’s Gateways and Trade Corridors. “Combined with her experience in public policy, Katie’s stellar organizational skills and can-do attitude make her a great fit for our dynamic team,” said Farah K. Ahmed, President & CEO of Fragrance Creators. “I am confident she will be instrumental in supporting our phenomenal office culture as well as the continued growth of our advocacy efforts to promote policies that are good for people, perfume, and the planet.” Cross will work under the direction of Amanda Nguyen, Director, Government Affairs & Legal, on issues of critical importance to fragrance, including ingredient communication, cosmetics modernization, trade/tariff, and more.
