GATES TENSIONER UPDATE
Both Gates and Litens are OE on the VAG tensioner T43219 which is included in the fast moving 5649XS SBDS Kits . Gates aftermarket kits produced before August 4 have the Litens tensioner . Kits produced after that date have the Gates tensioner .
SBDS Kits with the T43219 tensioner include :
• K025649XS : PowerGrip Timing Belt Kit
• KP25649XS-1 : PowerGrip Timing Belt Kit plus Water Pump
Although both tensioners look different ( the Gates tensioner has no retaining lug ), they are perfectly interchangeable . There is a detailed installation instruction included in the kit boxes .
Gates tensioner must be rotated counter-clockwise whereas the Litens tensioner must be rotated clockwise .
To clearly communicate this , Gates Tech Tip n ° 12 with self-explanatory pictures will be provided in the kit boxes . For more information , please speak with your local FPS representative .

Fahren has recently added 10 new-to-range- brake pads , covering over 1.4 million UK vehicles . Highlights include :
• FBP0221 : Front Pads for Kia Sportage 1.7 ( 2010-2015 )
• FBP0219 : Front Pads for Iveco Daily 2.3 ( 2011-2014 )
• FBP0220 : Rear Pads for Mini 1.6 ( 2006-2012 )

HAMMERITE ANNOUNCES WINNER
Through the months of May and June , Hammerite held a promotion for customers who purchased more than £ 500 worth of Hammerite products , offering them a chance of winning holiday vouchers worth £ 4,000 .
The lucky winner for the entire promotion was an FPS customer , Myles White from TM Autoparts in Northamptonshire . Myles and his girlfriend Tracey , are looking forward to enjoying a holiday in the Dominican Republic or the Bahamas , early next year .

ENERGIZER ® JUMP LEADS
Energizer ® continues to offer its successful range of jump leads through FPS with 6 products , from standard jump leads to Heavy-Duty options and LED jump leads that allow easy connection in the dark for both petrol ( up to 5.0L ) and diesel ( up to 3.5L ) engines .
It is crucial to use reliable jump leads to avoid potential damage to the parts and electrical circuitry of the vehicle , when there is a sudden surge in energy during a jump starting process . All Energizer ® jump leads are made from copper clad aluminium cables and PVC insulation . The clamps are fully insulated , spring loaded and colour coded to provided added safety for users .
Energizer ® clamps have patented High Conductive Technology ( HCT ) within the jaws which allows electrical current to move more effectively and efficiently between two batteries . Energizer ® LED jump leads are also packaged in interactive presentation boxes .
