VITAL NEWS looks at the latest F:Drive features that create
an even smoother customer experience.
The FPS eCommerce website, the F:Drive processes almost half of FPS’
total orders daily, and orders made via this site are expected to continue
rising as the aftermarket adapts to the digital age. The site is continually
evolving to cater for the changing needs of customers.
IMPROVING BULK ORDERS
To prepare bulk orders without the need to trawl through multiple
links and pages on the website, customers merely have to upload an MS
Excel sheet (CSV format) or Notepad file to the F:Drive. This feature has
recently been enhanced to process unlimited lines.
REACHING FOR THE STARS
Select ranges in the FPS Maintenance and Accessories section of the
F:Drive have a useful rating system. They currently include wiper
blades, engine oils, air fresheners and more to give customers a unique
insight into the most popular ranges from FPS.
The familiar 5-star system is used. However, in a world where products
generally achieve 4-star ratings by doing what’s expected of them, FPS
has created a system to further dissect what consumers really appreciate
about a product.
This new development has improved the processing speed, with the
status of the file now displayed on the screen to allow the customer
to track the order progress live. Alerts regarding errors or items that
are out of stock will be highlighted immediately to provide complete
transparency to the customer’s order.

Rating a product is as simple as clicking on the empty stars and leaving
a worded review to provide a detailed opinion about the rating. Once
a part has been reviewed, the overall star rating appears on both the
search results page and at the top of the product page for an effo rtless
comparison.
