Welcome to the 50 th issue of Vital News.
Spring has sprung, or has it? At the time
of writing, we’ve had Storm Emma, the
Beast from the East and the Pest from the
West. When temperatures should have
be at an incline to make way for spring
flowers, we were selling snow chains,
shovels and de-icers.
As with the rest of the country, FPS
faced immense logistical challenges.
Despite the extremely difficult driving
conditions, road closures and delays,
FPS was committed to deliver the very
best service to our customers. In FPS
branches, DC’s and HGV fleet, we saw
teams band together to literally clear the
way for delivery wherever possible, whilst
ensuring that up-to-date information
was conveyed between suppliers and
customers.
Challenges like that often show us what
we are made of. At FPS, we were put to
the test and we thank all of our customers
for the support and feedback.
15 Saving Power, Reducing Emissions
Growth comes when you find
opportunities to improve regardless of
circumstance. It is apt that our 50 th issue
embodies the various ways in which
growth can be manifested. Our cover
story highlights how Bosch approaches
quality standards within their growing
filtration range on page 4.
The diversity of our suppliers allows FPS
the ability to provide motor factors with
customised stocking portfolios that best
fit their customer base. Turn to page 17
to find out how the FPS team can help
you improve your business with retail
opportunities.
